Guild Wars 2 is the critically acclaimed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), published by NCSOFT and developed by ArenaNet. Listed by Time as the top video game of 2012, Guild Wars 2 sold over 2 million copies within the first two weeks of launch and currently has over 11 million players worldwide.

Project overview
As part of the NCSOFT West design studio, our responsibility was to support all of NCSOFT's gaming studios with their game's website designs, marketing materials, and email campaigns. During my time at NCSOFT West, I worked with 3 product managers, 2 project managers, 2 UX designers, 6 visual designers, and over 25 developers (not including the gaming studio's on-site design and development teams).
For this project, I had the privilege of supporting ArenaNet and its design team with the launch of Guild Wars 2. Though I am not responsible for the branding of the site itself (that honor belongs to the talented Kate Welch), I did support the team with full-page content UI design work. I was, however, responsible for the design of the Guild Wars 2 online manual website, a digital countdown display, multiple banner ads, and the game's events micro-site.

Though my part was small, it was an amazing experience working with such a talented group of designers on such a well-known franchise. In the end, we succeeded in creating clean and contemporary designs that have passed the test of time.
